Job Title: HFM Reporting Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HFM Reporting Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports using Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) software. The HFM Reporting Accountant will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and analyze financial reports using HFM software
2. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data in HFM
3. Support the month-end and year-end financial close processes
4. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
5. Maintain and update financial models and templates in HFM
6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial analysis and insights
7. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and processes
8. Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions in HFM
9. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in financial reporting
10. Support the management of the external audit process
11. Working with Group Tax to consolidate and ensure timely submission of approved corporate direct and indirect tax returns 
10. Ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the Group Finance Manager

Qualifications:

1. CA(SA)
2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting or accounting
3. Advanced Financial Reporting and Consolidation knowledge
4. Strong proficiency in HFM software
5. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software tools
6. Ability to work with complexities associated with tax management
7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
9. Highly organized and detail-oriented
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
11. Advanced Financial Reporting and Consolidation knowledge
