Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Business Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing financial reports, and providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making within the organization. The Senior Finance Business Analyst will collaborate with various departments to identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue growth, and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct financial analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting and budgeting processes
- Analyze trends in financial performance and provide insights to management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business performance and improve financial processes
- Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for senior leadership
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategies for improving financial performance
- Lead ad-hoc financial projects as assigned by management

Qualifications:

- CA(SA) / CIMA Qualification
- Insurance or Financial Services experience or finance/financial reporting processes and systems
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis or business analytics
- Solid understanding of financial principles and best practices
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
- Experience in mapping out complex business processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
